CHEAP EATS AT NYC RESTAURANT WEEK

Like to eat at top tier restaurants but like paying bottom tier prices? Then NYC Restaurant Week was made just for you.

Twice a year since 1992, usually pricey Big Apple eateries offer 3 course lunches ($24.07) & dinners ($35).

Prices do not include beverages, tax & tip - there are limits to their generosity.

And since everything is bigger in NYC, their 'week' actually lasts 20 days from 1/16 - 2/10.

But don't think that this big city bargain basement price is for some 2nd rate, hole in the wall, hot dog & beanery slop houses. The 320 participating restaurants are some of the trendiest, multi-starred best high priced troughs Manhattan has to offer.

However, reservations fill up fast. If you plan on taking advantage of these culinary deals, I would suggest booking ASAP - like right this minute.

Dinners fill the quickest. If there are no more seats at your mouth watering favorite, try reserving the joint for lunch. It's usually less crowded, the food's just as good & you'll save a couple of bucks.

But remember, it's the earliest birds who get the tables - drag thy feet & you may be dining at BeefSteak Charlies.

Bon appetite & good luck!
